Lessons from Lockdown - Legal and Insurance Issues

This is a virtual lunchbreak and the chance to learn about protecting and supporting your business during the COVD 19 Crisis and the various government schemes and initiatives that are available to small businesses and their employees This week Meryl and Leigh will be joined by Neil Warwick OBE, Partner in DAC Beachcroft from their commercial team who specialises in EU and Competition law and is the National Chair for International Trade with the FSB. DAC Beachcroft specialise in insurance and Neil advises many national and regional government bodies as well as working in the private sector. We will be looking at some of the issues around the law and insurance which may have impacted on your business during this crisis, and also how things may change moving forward. We are already seeing conflicts between what government departments are advising and what the law states, so we will be looking at how to navigate this as a business, and looking at what insurances and protections businesses may want to consider in the future.
