Following the recent membership survey it is clear that we need to run another ISL induction session. This is mainly because CSSC membership has grown significantly across the East Midlands region since the original event held in March. I am therefore writing to invite you to this important meeting which is generously being hosted by Capital One. We have been fortunate in obtaining the use of the auditorium so essential that the event is well attended. There will also be a number of update sessions including presentations from the police on the current terrorist threat. The meeting will be held between 3pm and 5pm on Wednesday 31st October in the offices of Capital One at Trent House, Station Street, Nottingham, NG2 3HX. Tea and Coffee will be available from 2.45 and the meeting will finish by 5 pm. Trent House is across the road from Nottingham Railway Station and travel by public transport is recommended. Car parking is available at the station car park in Queens Road.
We now have over 60 ISL’s, so most principal sectors of business are covered. The purpose of the meeting will be to give you a general understanding of your role as an ISL, Deputy ISL and Associate ISL. The event will also enable you to meet with colleagues in other organisations and hear about some of the work achieved by ISLs as we have progressed. As part of the presentation I will give an overview about how CSSC in the East Midlands has developed. There will also be presentations from several guest speakers and an opportunity for you to talk to the senior management team. The final agenda will be confirmed nearer the time. The event is CPD accredited.
It will be ideal to bring the person that will deputise for you with cascading CSSC messages, but this is not essential. It will though be important for security reasons that you let me know if you are able to join us and for you to confirm the names and company name of those attending.
