About Dr. David Gray

David Gray is a Principal Lecturer in Economics at the Lincoln International Business School. He has worked for Lincoln University for just under 30 years. David has two PhDs: one in regional economics and another in housing.

His current work in on the cyclical nature of regional house prices with an emphasis on the periodic nature of house price bubbles emphasises longer cycles, beyond the normal business cycle range. This can be seen in the context of the so called ‘ripple effect’ in house prices.

His previous work includes an analysis of the extent of labour market, the nature of entrepreneurs and shareholder interests and corporate behaviour.

David has published in numerous journals including Strategic Change, Housing Studies, Urban Studies and Regional Studies.
