Explore Exporting for SMEs

Do you have big dreams of taking your business overseas, but have no idea where to start? We are proud to present our new business support programme, designed to help micro-to-small businesses to take the leap into exporting.

The ‘Explore Exporting’ programme is fully-funded and offers face-to-face advice sessions with an experienced export professional, along with a series of participatory workshops across the county.

In seven half-day workshops, a number of experts will demonstrate how exporting can help businesses to grow, as well as ensuring attendees are as prepared as possible to break into their target market.

Topics covered include ‘Introduction to Export,’ ‘Introduction to International E-Commerce’ and ‘Introduction to Researching Export Markets, with each session led by a seasoned export professional from the Department for International Trade. Attendees will leave the workshops with realistic action plan upon which to begin exporting, as well as recommendations to ensure their plan is profitable and sustainable in the long-term.

Alongside these workshops, Business Lincolnshire adviser Mike Stokes - who has 30 years of experience as an export consultant – will be offering face-to-face guidance to businesses just beginning their exporting journey.

The workshops and one-to-one advice are fully-funded and available to companies, partnerships, sole-traders and registered charities. Places are limited to two spots per business.
