What is the grant available for?
Lincolnshire County Council will provide a grant for creating ponds and wetlands in order to increase biodiversity and enhance the landscape.
Although not essential, preference may be given to schemes that make links between existing habitats or landscape features or are accessible to the public.

Percentage of project cost
Upto 50% of the project cost.
Any eligibility criteria
- The grant is open to anyone who owns or manages land. It cannot be used on farmland entered into Higher Level Schemes, but can be used in connection with the Entry Level Scheme.
- Planting for private gardens and works required as a condition of planning permission are not eligible. Grants can not be awarded retrospectively.
- Grants will not be awarded to schemes that have an adverse effect on historic or important sites for wildlife.

The project must be to create ponds or wetlands which increase biodiversity and enhance the landscape.
