Manufacturing sector overview

< Back to manufacturing

Greater Lincolnshire has a strong and productive manufacturing sector. The sector currently employs 60,000 workers - 14% of total employment for Greater Lincolnshire and contributes £3.97 billion – 20% of our total economic value.

The Greater Lincolnshire LEP, together with Business Lincolnshire, have developed a Manufacturing Board whose primary role is to lead, influence and champion the manufacturing agenda across Greater Lincolnshire. The board aims to bring together private and public sector partners to spearhead the progress for the local manufacturing community. To read more about the Manufacturing Board click here.

Across Lincolnshire the aim is to increase economic output by almost a third by 2030, through our amazing local manufacturing businesses, by helping them to grow and develop using the latest technology and support through Growth Hub grant programmes.
