Explore Exporting for SMEs

< Back to Exporting

Do you have big dreams of taking your business overseas, but have no idea where to start? Our Explore Exporting programme is designed to help micro-to-small businesses to begin exporting and includes up to 30-hours of fully-funded support.

The programme offers face-to-face advice sessions with our experienced export professional, along with a series of participatory workshops across the county.

In these seven half-day workshops, a number of experts will demonstrate how exporting can help your business to grow, as well as ensure attendees are as prepared as possible to break into their target market.

Topics covered include ‘Introduction to Export,’ ‘Introduction to International E-Commerce’ and ‘Introduction to Researching Export Markets,' with each session led by a seasoned export professional from the Department for International Trade. Attendees will leave with realistic action plan upon which to begin exporting, as well as recommendations to ensure their plan is profitable and sustainable in the long-term.

Alongside these workshops, Business Lincolnshire's Export Adviser Mike Stokes - who has 30 years of experience as an international trade consultant – will be offering face-to-face guidance to businesses just beginning their export journey.

The workshops and one-to-one advice are available to companies, partnerships, sole-traders and registered charities. Places are limited to two spots per business.
