UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) is made up of 7 research councils, Innovate UK and Research England that collectively are the largest funder of Research and Innovation (R&I) in the UK. The research councils and work with academia, business, public sector, third sector and international partners.
UKRI Innovate UK is the UK’s national innovation agency supporting business-led innovation in all sectors, technologies and UK regions. They aim to support businesses to grow by helping them to develop and commercialise new products, processes and services.
Support offered by Innovate UK covers a wide number of products and services including Grants, Loans and Equity funding and non-financial support in the form of support for skills, business growth, access to experts and international trade support.
