Government Unveils New Online Portal to Simplify Export Insurance Applications for Businesses

The new system, announced by the government on 17th September, aims to make it easier for UK firms to apply for government-backed export insurance.

The portal, now live on GOV.UK, significantly reduces the complexity of the application process, allowing businesses to access critical support more quickly. UKEF’s export insurance can cover up to 95% of potential losses on export contracts, giving companies the confidence to grow their international trade.

For businesses in Greater Lincolnshire and Rutland looking to expand their global reach, this new tool provides much-needed backing, particularly in challenging international markets where insurance coverage is essential.
