Earlier this year, two new match-funded grant schemes were launched to help businesses across Greater Lincolnshire grow, develop, and thrive. Since then, many have already taken advantage of this opportunity, and yours could be next!

These grants are designed to make it easier for businesses to access the support they need for growth, training, consultancy, and more.

  • For newer businesses: If your business is less than a year old and you’re working with a Business Lincolnshire start-up adviser, you may be eligible for a £500 grant. This can be used for early-stage support such as software, training, or consultancy.
  • For established businesses: Businesses already working with or starting to work with a Business Lincolnshire adviser may be eligible for a £1,000 grant.
  • Funding support: If your business has fewer than 10 employees, we can fund up to 75% of your project costs. For businesses with 10 or more employees, we can cover up to 50%, you only pay the rest.

Grants can be used for a wide range of business needs, from new equipment and website development to marketing campaigns. Whatever your goal, there’s flexible support tailored to your needs.

With tailored support available, it’s worth exploring how these grants could help your business grow.

Here’s how local businesses are already putting them to work:

23 Bakehouse LTD

After trading for just five months, 23 Bakehouse LTD used the grant to purchase a chiller cake unit. This allowed them to introduce new chilled products, improve food safety, and extend shelf life. Their story shows how early investment can make a real difference.

The GoLincs Project

“We applied for the grant to support the marketing budget for our startup, The GoLincs Project. Our mission is to promote events and attractions across the county of Lincolnshire. Currently, finding events feels like a treasure hunt across multiple ticketing sites and social media platforms. Our goal is to fill this gap by creating a one-stop website that showcases Lincolnshire’s events and things to do, making it easier for locals and visitors to discover what’s happening across the county.– Craig Cresswell, Director

Living Canvas Tattoo Studio

Emil Dumitru from Living Canvas Tattoo Studio applied for a grant because “every bit of support is helpful”. They plan to use it to buy a laptop to improve appointment scheduling and tattoo design work.
