This year’s winners will be announced at a virtual ceremony, showcasing each finalist’s project and achievements on Wednesday 11th November 2020.

Dan Gladstone, Director of Jupiter IT says:

“We are over the moon to be shortlisted in the category for Services Company Of The Year and very humbled to be included in the national awards with such well known companies.

“Our vision was to be considered the best IT firm in the region and now we are acknowledged as one of the best in the UK.

“Other entrants for the awards include; The Bank of England, Ministry of Defence and Lloyds Banking Group. Considering the calibre, we are pleased to have reached this stage and feel excited at the prospect of winning our category overall.”

Jupiter IT was established in 2007 by a trio of IT Consultants from the NHS, whose objective to be the IT department for many local firms - from SMEs to large corporations - has been achieved.

The firm has been shortlisted based on the service levels carried out by the team who focus on proactive IT consultancy, cybersecurity and a fully managed service that is unique to the industry - ensuring IT systems are running to their optimum and any issues are resolved in the background.

The management were also recognised for their focus on developing the team, providing weekly training and offering incentives for service improvement.

Accounting for over fifty per cent of all crime, cybercrime is one of the biggest threats to businesses, and IT and digital services have played a critical role in protecting companies during the current pandemic. Therefore, the UK IT Industry Awards have identified the IT professionals behind these services, along with the vital workers ensuring people and businesses stay connected during this crisis.

Dan adds:

“When the world turned to technology at the beginning of the pandemic, the IT industry stepped up. For us, seventy-five per cent of our clients switched to working from home. We had to act fast to ensure all our clients were working as secure as possible. The Jupiter team worked around the clock to make this happen - part of the reason they are so deserving of this accolade.”
