The Great British Entrepreneur Awards Midlands Finals took place this week on Wednesday 14th November. Over 3000 applicants entered the prestigious awards categories across the UK, with shortlisted businesses invited to attend the event.
Among the nominees, it was fantastic to see many Lincolnshire businesses representing the county. These included local transportation business, Vision Drive, who are based at Lincoln’s Think Tank business incubation facility. They were recognised as a finalist in the Service Industry Entrepreneur of the Year award category.
Local beauty business Beauty Boulevard, founders of Glitter Lips, were also nominated and came runner up in their category for Start Up Entrepreneur of the Year.
Also flying the flag for Lincolnshire, specialist Growth Hub adviser Russell Copley grasped the runner up place for Entrepreneur Champion of the Year.
All in all, a great evening for showcasing some of Lincolnshire’s fantastic businesses – well done to all involved!
