Make international links with the Global Business Innovation Programme trip to China!
If you’re an Agri-Tech business, and you’re looking at international collaboration, then the Global Business Innovation Programme (GBIP) mission to China could be a significant step forwards for you and your business.
China is a major world economy, and with a population of 1.4 billion the need for innovative agricultural solutions has never been higher. It’s estimated that by 2030, China will need an additional 100 million tons of food each year, which means that the country is keen to innovate and prepare itself for the future.
The GBIP offers a technology visit to China for successful applicants to the programme, which will begin on the 9thof March, and involve visits to Beijing, Shijiazhuang, and Shanghai. The aim is to build relationships between UK Agri-Tech businesses, and Chinese businesses, with hopes of creating collaboration.
To be eligible, you must be an SME established in the UK, and pay a commitment fee of £500, refundable on completion of the programme. You can find out more about the programme in the attached PDF, or to apply, click here.
