North Lincs - Business Start-Up Grant

What is the grant available for?

The Business Start-Up North Lincs Grant is a one-off payment to assist individuals to meet business costs associated with becoming self-employed or starting a small business. This grant is for any individual who meet the scheme’s criteria, certain types of businesses are not eligible for the scheme including public sector organisations, domestic households, businesses linked to other organisations and the voluntary sector.

Grants are up to a maximum of £1,000 but generally amounts will be in the region of £500. The funds are limited, so therefore only those applications that can demonstrate best value will be considered.

The funding can be used for equipment and other capital expenditure (Other than vehicles and standard IT Equipment, such as laptops, computers, and tablets) and other specific start-up costs, such as those associated with any accreditations or permits required

Also, a team of experienced Business Advisors will support you to access high quality 1-2-1 support, training and resource to assist you to develop your business idea.

Percentage of project cost

100% of the project cost is covered, with a maximum value of £1,000.

Any eligibility criteria

The business must be based in North Lincolnshire and have been trading less than 12 months.
