If you are a small or medium sized enterprise looking to scale and accelerate your growth in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, you could be eligible for grant funding and strategic business growth support with Growth Works.
Alongside strategic business growth, they offer up to 50% match funding, with no set maximum. Grant amounts are dependent on job creation as a result of your accelerated growth.
The Cambridge and Peterborough team will work with you and guide you through every step of the application process.
To qualify for the grant funding, our baseline criteria is that your business must be growing fast or having high growth potential and:
- Have 3-249 employees
- Be located in Cambridgeshire & Peterborough
- Balance sheet less than €43m (approx. £38m)
- Annual turnover less than €50m (approx. £44m)
A grant offer letter MUST be received by applicants BEFORE any deposits are paid or goods ordered.
Grants are paid retrospectively, so the total costs must be paid in full before the grant can be claimed.
Any grant offer is at the discretion of the awards panel, the awards panel’s decision is final, and there is no right of appeal.

Any eligibility criteria
The scheme is only open to Registered Limited Companies currently employing at least three full time staff in our area, and the applicant must be able to produce evidence of income generation, by means of submitting copies of their accounts.
For the Revenue Grant, our area is: Cambridgeshire, Cambridge City, South Cambridgeshire, Huntingdonshire, Fenland, East Cambridgeshire, Peterborough City, Suffolk – St Edmundsbury and Forest Heath, together referred to as West Suffolk, Hertfordshire – North Herts only, Essex – Uttlesford only, Lincolnshire – South Kesteven and South Holland and Rutland only, Norfolk – Kings Lynn and West Norfolk.
