• Fully Funded Short Technical Training Courses in Introduction to MRP and ERP Systems, Introduction to CRM Systems, Business Process Improvement for Manufacturers, Transforming Manufacturing Efficiency and Cybersecurity for Manufacturers
• Intensive Support - 3.5 days of independent expert support free of charge - delivered across 9 disciplines
• Grant Funding - you will be able to secure grant funding of up to £20,000 with a 50% match from your side
• Leadership and Management Training - 7 bite sized workshops delivered over a 3 month programme to equip the manufacturing leaders with the skills required to lead and successfully deliver change
• Digital Internships - to support well defined focused projects

Some background information:-

The Programme closes 31 March 2026, and will have delivered £4.7m of HM Government Investment between 2022-2026.

This programme is particularly important for Greater Lincolnshire and the East Midlands because: 

• Our economic output is heavily reliant on manufacturing – 18.3% of GVA in the East Midlands compared to 11% for the UK
• Manufacturing is vital for employment – it is the second largest sector for employment in the East Midlands and accounts for 12.7% of employment compared to the UK average of 7.7%
• Manufacturing is a relatively large proportion of all businesses – 10.7% in the East Midlands compared to the UK average of 8.6%

 

Restrictions

Made Smarter Adoption is open to micro, small and medium sized manufacturing and engineering businesses who have manufacturing premises in Lincolnshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire and Northamptonshire.
