What is the Business Support?

North Lincolnshire has been allocated funds through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) as part of the Levelling Up agenda. The fund will target where there is a need to create and build pride in place, support the business sector, and increase life chances through personal development and training to access employment. The fund will invest in three investment priorities: communities and place, support for local businesses, and people and skills.

As part of North Lincolnshire Council's ongoing commitment to support businesses within the local area we have a range of support to assist local businesses to fulfil their growth aspirations.

• 1-2-1 Business Support: Advisors will work with businesses to apply for grant funding and direct onto applicable support programmes such as webinars and workshops.
• Webinar Programme - we will deliver webinars across the below strands of support: Sales and Marketing, Business Processes, Leadership & Management, Financial Management / Investment Readiness, Visitor Economy and Environmental / Decarbonisation
• Workshop Programme – Our workshop programme will consist of 21 physical workshops on the same themes seen in the webinar programme.
• Specialist 1-2-1/Voucher Support - Those businesses who attend workshop programme will also have access to specialist advisor support (up to 2-hours funded) to build on initial work from the workshops.

Restrictions

Businesses need to be registered and trading within North Lincolnshire.
