What is the Business Support?

People who have been claiming Universal Credit for 12- 18 months have access to enhanced support to find work. Jobs 22 was chosen to run Restart Scheme across East Central England; an area which includes Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, North Buckinghamshire, Northamptonshire, Staffordshire & Warwickshire.

We work with local delivery partners in each region, chosen for their expertise and standing in the local community.  We prioritise working with small to medium sized organisations with specialisms in employability, health, housing, training, and education as well as public sector organisations including local government and FE & HE institutions.

Working with local employers, local government, and support services based in the area, Jobs 22 has created a service that gives Restart Scheme participants extra help and tailored support by removing barriers to sustainable employment.

Everyone who accesses the Restart Scheme receives tailored support starting with an introduction to their Jobs 22 Employment Coach, who is there to advise and support the entire journey.

All participants are supported with the tools, technology, and coaching they need to jump-start personal development and succeed in their job search.  We create bespoke support systems by partnering with local organisations and charities so our participants are empowered to join local businesses with the skills they need to succeed.

Our support doesn’t end when a new job contract is signed.  The Jobs 22 approach offers continued services to participants beyond their start date so employers can trust their new employee is supported with everything they need to deliver in their new role.

The ongoing relationships we build with employers across the region allow us to ensure that participants can succeed in building a sustainable career, once employed.  By focusing on individual participant success, we can have a huge positive impact on local businesses, partners, and the community beyond.
