GoLincs is a digital start-up, operating for six months, dedicated to simplifying the fragmented local events landscape, where “finding events can feel like a treasure hunt.” Its user-friendly website brings together a wide variety of local event listings all in one place. 

Passionate about supporting local communities and businesses, the platform allows users to filter events by date, location, category, and family-friendliness, making it easier than ever to plan and discover activities and local events. 

GoLincs serves residents of Lincolnshire, tourists, and event planners, and is based just outside Spilsby, Lincolnshire. 

How has Business Lincolnshire helped? 

To gain traction, GoLincs needed marketing support to launch and promote its platform. • Paid Sponsorship Opportunities – Offering sponsored listings and advertising packages for local businesses, attractions, and event organisers seeking greater visibility on the GoLincs website and communication channels. 

• Boosted Event Listings – Launching a tiered promotion model that allows event organisers to uplift their listings for greater exposure.  

• Expanding Email Marketing – Investing in a large-scale email marketing strategy, including curated “What’s On” guides, to grow the subscriber base, increase user engagement, and provide additional advertising opportunities for event organisers. 

• GoLincs Ticketing Platform – Developing an exclusive ticketing system to provide an affordable, user-friendly solution for Lincolnshire event organisers, helping retain more revenue within the local economy.
