Business Lincolnshire Start-Up Grant

Are you a new business in Greater Lincolnshire?

The Business Lincolnshire Start-Up Grant offers £500 to help you get started and grow.

This grant supports essential start-up costs, including:

  • Business tools, computers, and equipment
  • Product development and market research
  • Marketing and advertising
  • Website and e-commerce setup
  • Staff training and sustainability initiatives
  • Legal and regulatory compliance

Grant details

  • Fixed grant amount: £500
  • Minimum project cost: £1,000
  • Minimum item value: £100
  • Must be match-funded 50:50 by the business

Start-Up Grant

You’re eligible if:

  • Your business is in the Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority area
  • You’ve been trading for less than 12 months
  • You work with a Business Start-Up Adviser to complete a project plan

To qualify, your project should aim to achieve at least one of the following:

  • Create or safeguard jobs
  • Launch a new enterprise
  • Improve products/services or adopt new technologies
  • Enter new markets

The grant cannot be used for:

  • Mobile devices (phones, tablets)
  • Ongoing costs (e.g. rent, rates)
  • Statutory business requirements
  • Costs incurred before grant approval

  1. Work with a Business Adviser to submit an initial online request
  2. Provide:
    • Business Enrolment Form
    • Proof of registration (HMRC or Companies House)
    • Proof of business bank account
  3. If eligible, complete the full application with:
    • Grant Application Form
    • Quotations for items

  • Do not pay for goods before receiving your Offer Letter
  • You must pay suppliers in full and provide proof before claiming
  • No cash or credit card payments allowed
  • Grant payments are made every Wednesday via BACS
