British Power Traffic Energy

Designed and built in the UK, the system captures the downward energy of vehicles passing over it to generate
clean sustainable electricity from a previously untapped
source.

Visually the system resembles a speed bump with the mechanics all hidden beneath the bump; the electrical
generation system sits in an adjacent box.

The system can be surface mounted, or inset into roadways via a prebuilt concrete casing which is lowered into place.

How much electricity can it generate?

The amount of energy generated depends on the flow, weight and speed of the vehicles passing over it.

The system is commercially viable from as few as 20 cars / 10 HGVs per hour
