The Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub

The Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub brings together schools, colleges, and employers to improve careers education across the region. The Hub offers a range of opportunities for businesses to engage with young people—whether through workplace experiences, careers talks, mentoring, or curriculum support. By working with us, employers can help shape the future workforce, raise aspirations, and build stronger links with local education providers.

Funded by The Careers & Enterprise Company and Lincolnshire County Council, the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub works closely with schools and colleges to strengthen careers education. Employers can get involved in a variety of ways, from offering insights into their industry to supporting curriculum projects or hosting workplace visits. Your involvement helps young people gain a clearer understanding of the world of work and the skills they’ll need to succeed.

Support the next generation and shape your future workforce!

Experiences of the Workplace invites businesses like yours to give young people meaningful, real-world insights into the world of work – something they may not get anywhere else.

Statistics show that the more encounters a young person has with the world of work, the less likely they are to be NEET at 19 (not in education employment or training). Specifically, four or more meaningful encounters with an employer or workplace can significantly improve a young person’s chance of realising their aspirations and making an informed choice about the future. Now, more than ever before, it is important to prepare young people for employment, both in terms of qualifications and transferable skills.
