Starting a business can feel overwhelming without a clear structure or plan. The Start‑Up Strategy Hour is a fully funded, one‑hour virtual workshop designed to help new and early‑stage entrepreneurs develop the clarity and confidence needed to move forward effectively.

This practical session introduces attendees to essential tools and techniques used by successful businesses, including the Business Model Canvas and market research resources available through the Business & IP Centre (BIPC) network. Participants will learn how to analyse their idea, identify potential challenges, and shape a value proposition that stands out in a competitive marketplace.

What the Session Covers
Participants will be guided through:

  • Understanding the Business Model Canvas and how to use it to map and refine a business idea
  • Conducting meaningful market research using BIPC tools such as COBRA, industry reports, and local insights

This session is interactive, accessible, and suitable for anyone refining an idea or preparing to launch a new venture.
