If you’ve never exhibited at the Glee Garden Show before, this could be your chance.
The GIMA Innovators' Seed Corn Fund is now open for 2025, offering funding and practical support to help small and start-up businesses in the gardening industry showcase their products at one of the UK’s biggest trade events.
The fund is run by the Garden Industry Manufacturers’ Association (GIMA) in partnership with the Glee Garden Show. It’s aimed at businesses that have innovative, market-ready products that haven’t been seen before in the gardening retail sector.

What’s included?
Successful applicants will receive:
- A free exhibition stand at the Glee Garden Show 2025, held at the NEC in Birmingham
- A grant of up to £6,000 to support costs such as product design, development, consultancy, manufacturing and marketing (with £4,000 allocated to these activities)
- A half-page advert in the GIMA New Product Digest
- 12 months’ free membership of both GIMA and ACID (Anti Copying in Design)
- PR and promotional support in the run-up to and during the show
Who is it for?
This fund is ideal for:
- Inventors and start-ups
- Small businesses with new product ideas
- Businesses not yet established in garden retail
- Entrepreneurs with products that are market-ready and protected by design rights
To be eligible, applicants must not have exhibited at Glee before, and design protection must be in place before applying.
