Business Lincolnshire is pleased to share that several Team Lincolnshire ambassadors have been shortlisted to participate in the competitive process to become key partners for the Spherical Tokamak for Energy Production (STEP) project.
The STEP programme, led by UK Industrial Fusion Solutions Ltd (UKIFS) and the UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA), aims to create a UK-led fusion energy industry that supports economic growth. The project will bring together public and private sector organisations in an integrated team to deliver its ambitious goals, with successful engineering and construction partners playing a central role.
Among those shortlisted are Team Lincolnshire ambassadors AtkinsRealis, WSP, Balfour Beatty, and Turner & Townsend, reflecting the strong capabilities within the network.
