What is the Business Support?

Added 1/4/2025

Farming businesses across Lincolnshire are facing increasing financial pressures, changing regulations and workforce challenges. To support farm businesses in navigating these challenges and identifying new opportunities, Business Lincolnshire has launched the Lincolnshire Farm Support Programme, delivered by Savills.

This fully funded programme offers tailored business advice, workshops, and guidance to help farmers improve financial resilience, explore diversification and plan for long-term success.

Through the Lincolnshire Farm Support Programme, eligible businesses can access:

  • One-to-one farm visits. Tailored business advice and follow up recommendations, offering practical recommendations to strengthen financial planning and business operations.
  • Workshops across the county. Covering key topics such as business growth, financial planning, diversification and resilience.
  • Specialist support. Guidance on succession planning and funding opportunities.

Restrictions

The programme is open to farm businesses where the main source of income comes from farming. Unfortunately, this support is not available for smallholders managing farms as a hobby or alongside full-time employment.

What could it do for your company?

This support is fully funded and designed to help farm businesses build resilience, increase efficiency and explore future opportunities.

Who runs it?

The scheme is being delivered by Savills on behalf of the Business Lincolnshire Growth Hub.
