The Eastern England region has a rich history of food production and is home to some world leading innovators. The region’s strengths include robotics, AI and automation; genomics and health; biotechnology applied to food production and protection, among many other exciting developments. This excellent track record of expertise and impactful innovation was recognised with one of 11 Innovate UK-funded Launchpad programmes.

Innovate UK’s Launchpad programme is aimed at supporting clusters of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and the most innovative businesses to progress their ideas toward commercialisation, contributing to local economic growth. The Innovation Cluster in Agri-tech and food Technology in Eastern England is delivered in partnership with the Lincolnshire County Council, Norfolk County Council, Suffolk County Council and the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority.

This event aims to showcase the breadth of innovative businesses providing solutions to the Eastern England Agri-Food sector. Companies and innovators will showcase their pioneering products and technologies, providing attendees the chance to connect with key players in their local industry, investors, and potential future partners who are looking to explore and adopt innovation. The event is open to the UK-wide Agri-Food community to exchange ideas, forge strategic partnerships, and explore innovation opportunities.
