Connect to Work for Employers

_Connect to Work Website Assets-14

Fully funded recruitment support for businesses across Greater Lincolnshire.

Finding the right person for a role takes time and when it doesn’t work out, it costs more than just money.

Connect to Work is a fully funded programme that takes on much of that work for you. We get to know your business, understand what you actually need, and match you with candidates who are genuinely suited to the role, not just available.

Our Employment Specialists work across Greater Lincolnshire placing people into jobs that fit their skills, strengths and circumstances. They don’t disappear once someone starts. They stay in touch with both you and your new employee, helping them settle in and flagging anything early before it becomes a problem.

How Connect to Work Supports Employers

There’s no cost to employers. What you get is a team that does the legwork, sourcing candidates, preparing them for the role, and supporting them once they’re with you. If a role is hard to fill, or if you’ve had new starters not work out in the past, this is worth a conversation.

  • Candidates matched to your specific role and workplace, not just your job description
  • Pre-employment preparation tailored to your requirements, so people arrive ready
  • An Employment Specialist available to you and your employee after they start
  • Support to make reasonable adjustments where needed, without the guesswork
  • No recruitment fees, no agency costs

"More and more employers across Greater Lincolnshire are choosing to work with Connect to Work because the programme makes recruitment simpler, fairer and more sustainable. We’re here to support both employers and participants every step of the way, helping businesses grow while giving local people the chance to thrive in work."

Benefits for Employers and Workforce Development

Connect to Work isn’t just about filling vacancies. It’s about helping you build a stronger, more reliable workforce – in a way that reduces risk.

Alongside recruitment support, you’ll gain access to a wider network of business support across Greater Lincolnshire, including connections with Business Lincolnshire, Team Lincolnshire and local Growth Hubs. This can help you access funding, advice and support across different areas of your business – not just recruitment.

You’ll also benefit from:

  • Support with working towards recognised standards such as Disability Confident accreditation
  • The opportunity to learn from other local employers facing similar challenges
  • Access to fully funded workshops and networking opportunities focused on inclusive recruitment and workforce development
  • Access to a broader pool of candidates, bringing valuable experience that isn’t always visible on a CV, including:
    • Strong people skills and real-world problem solving
    • Transferable skills from a range of sectors, including career changers and veterans
    • Practical, “work-ready” attitudes
    • High levels of motivation, reliability and loyalty when given the right opportunity

If you’ve experienced challenges with retention or finding the right fit, this is a different approach. You’re not just receiving applications – you’re gaining a structured, supported route into building a workforce that works for your business.

Is Connect to Work Right for Your Business?

Yes! Businesses of all sizes across Greater Lincolnshire – including SMEs – particularly those with roles that are hard to recruit for, high turnover positions, or a genuine interest in building a more stable, diverse workforce are encouraged to get involved. You don’t need a formal DEI strategy or HR department. You just need a role and a willingness to give someone a fair shot.
