Across the last 12 months, it’s great to have seen Greater Lincolnshire’s business community demonstrating remarkable resilience, innovation, and ambition. Whether recovering from unforeseen challenges, scaling production through new technology, or turning creative hobbies into thriving enterprises. The stories shared through Business Lincolnshire showcase a region full of determination and growth.
Here’s a look back at some of the standout success stories from 2025–2026!
Rising from Crisis to Expansion
In 2024, Little Crafters Boxes, a Sleaford based eco‑friendly STEM and craft education business, faced devastating flooding that destroyed stock and halted operations. Instead of giving up, founder Radha Borthayre used the setback to ignite strategic growth with support from Business Lincolnshire.
Through the Manufacturing Growth Sprint workshops and personalised 1:1 guidance, the business gained clarity on improving processes and planning long‑term growth.
Today, Little Crafters Boxes is moving ahead with a game‑changing project: opening one of Lincolnshire’s first remote exam centres for home‑educated children, creating more inclusive learning opportunities across the county.
Turning Passion into Growth
Independent bakery 23 Bakehouse LTD, known for its indulgent brownies and creative bakes, moved into a dedicated unit to expand production, but needed specialist equipment to unlock the next stage of growth.
A Business Lincolnshire grant enabled the bakery to invest in a crucial chiller cake unit, improving workflow, expanding their chilled product range, and enhancing operational efficiency. With new capacity and growing nationwide demand for postal delivery, 23 Bakehouse LTD is now focused on scaling sustainably, innovating their menu, and strengthening their brand visibility across the UK.
Bringing Wellness to Life Through Start‑Up Support
Launched in April 2025, Soulstice Healing opened as a spiritual and wellness centre offering intuitive readings, workshops, and holistic therapies. But to create a fully professional healing space and expand their visibility at events, the business needed early‑stage financial support.
A start‑up grant from Business Lincolnshire enabled them to complete the construction of their studio and invest in branded materials and essential equipment. This funding not only enhanced the client experience with wellness teas, hot towels, and jewellery, but also helped the business strengthen operations and prepare for future service expansion into sound therapy, bio‑resonance, and aura reading.
