Event Information

Artificial intelligence has become a popular buzzword and this session will explore how AI can be used practically and ethically to support the work of organisations operating in the voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) arena.

This fully funded online workshop will help demystify AI and enable, often resource-stretched organisations to streamline operations, enhance decision-making, and amplify their positive contributions to the communities they serve. From real-world case studies to hands-on brainstorming sessions, participants will leave with practical insights, inspired to implement AI solutions and to explore how AI can empower their organisation to make an even greater impact on society.

This workshop will be hosted by Andrew Imms, Business Research Associate from Lincoln Bishop University’s Lincolnshire Open Research and Innovation Centre.

You will be guided through an introduction to AI, looking at case studies of successful implementations in organisations, as well as considerations around ethical use.

This event is part of the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy programme which is funded by the UK Government and is supported by Lincolnshire County Council and Business Lincolnshire. It is delivered locally by Lincoln Bishop University.

As this is a fully funded event provided for Greater Lincolnshire VCFSE organisations, in addition to booking the ticket on Eventbrite, you will be asked to complete a Business Enrolment Form on the day to confirm eligibility and to provide data required by our funders.

*Please note that by registering for this event, you are giving permission for your name, organisation name, and email address to be recorded and shared with Business Lincolnshire to evidence engagement with this funded event. *
