The Hugo Burge Foundation has launched its 2026 Grants Programme, offering a total of £300,000 in funding to support creative projects and initiatives across the UK. Applications are open until 31 July 2026.
Funding is available through three strands below.
- £100,000 funding pot
- Supports opportunities for young people aged 0-29 to develop creative knowledge and skills.
- Eligible applicants include schools, local authorities, community groups, charities, arts organisations, museums and educational institutions.
- Grants of up to £15,000 are available.
- Projects requesting over £10,000 must secure at least 30% match funding from other sources.
- Limited multi-year grants of up to three years are available.
- £150,000 funding pot
- Supports cultural and creative initiatives delivered by festivals, charities, arts organisations and community groups.
- Grants of up to £15,000 are available.
- Applications over £10,000 require at least 30% match funding.
- Limited multi-year grants of up to three years are available.
- £50,000 funding pot
- Open to individual creatives and artists working in any discipline across the UK.
- Grants of up to £5,000 are available and can fund the full project cost.
An additional £7,000 Access Support Fund is available to help applicants who may face barriers to applying, including Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent individuals. Support of up to £300 per day can be requested to cover access support workers.
