This autumn, the Barbican Creative Hub is teaming up with BricksMcGee to explore how play can unlock fresh thinking, strengthen partnerships and help us thrive in an ever-changing creative landscape.

Our guest speaker, Richard Carter, Head of Play at BricksMcGee, will share his journey from the beginning of his career to, quite literally, playing for a living. Through an engaging keynote and interactive LEGO-based activity, Richard will explore why creativity, adaptability and flexibility are essential skills in today’s creative industries, and how the lessons we learn through play can be applied to collaboration, planning, problem-solving and building meaningful connections.
