Get Exhibition Ready: A Two-Part Professional Development Series
Are you preparing to exhibit your work for the first time, or looking to present your creative practice with greater confidence?
Get Exhibition Ready is a two-part series, delivered in partnership with the University of Lincoln, designed to equip early-career creatives, start-up businesses and established businesses with the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to exhibit professionally and build opportunities for future work.
From curating and presenting your work to creating a portfolio that opens doors, these hands-on sessions will help you take the next step in your creative career.
These workshops will be 90 minutes long plus 30 minutes of networking, sharing ideas and connecting. Industry professionals will be on hand in the room to answer any bespoke questions to your work.
These workshops have been designed by Rachel Baynton and Olly Ventress, in partnership with the University of Lincoln.
Rachel Baynton is Associate Professor – Creative Engagement Producer/Programme Leader at University of Lincoln. Rachel is an artist, producer, and academic working in cross-artform contexts, with a focus on collaboration, co-creation and contemporary cultural production.
Olly Ventress is Technician – Art & Design / College Art Shop Co-ordinator at University of Lincoln. Olly is a visual artist, art technician and curator focussing on areas such as AV projection, sound installation, video art and electronics in Fine Art. Olly supports industry creatives bringing exhibitions to life. He is also Director (Technical and Operations) of Base, a new non-for-profit artist led exhibition space in Lincoln.
