Energy Smart East Lindsey is a comprehensive business support package funded by East Lindsey District Council through the East Lindsey Investment Fund. The programme will support East Lindsey businesses make smarter and more informed energy management decisions. The programme provides structured support enabling businesses to access in-depth diagnostics, specialist advisory services, and private finance to deliver meaningful energy efficiency improvements, reduce business costs, improve energy resilience and contribute to wider net-zero objectives.

Who is it for?

Businesses with trading premises in East Lindsey that have been trading for at least 12 months.

The programme is not open to home-based businesses, charities or social enterprises.

What support is provided?

Eligible businesses will have access to a series of engaging events commencing Autumn 2026 to help businesses understand their options for improving resource efficiency.

Businesses can also receive support from an energy-reduction specialist to identify potential savings through a part or fully funded energy audit (funding depends on annual energy usage of the business).

The audits will provide businesses with advice on how to:

  • Manage resources more efficiently
  • Reduce business costs
  • Improve energy resilience
  • Contribute to wider net-zero objectives.
