National Portfolio 2028-33

The National Portfolio Investment Programme 2028–33 is a major funding programme from Arts Council England, providing five years of investment to eligible arts organisations, museums and libraries operating in England. The programme supports organisations that work directly with the public, contribute to the wider cultural sector, or undertake both types of activity.

Applications open at 10:00 on 20 October 2026 and close at 12:00 (midday) on 15 December 2026. Funding decisions are expected in July 2027, with successful organisations joining the National Portfolio from 1 April 2028 to 31 March 2033.

Applicants can request investment of £50,000 or more per year, subject to Arts Council England assessment and programme requirements. The Applicant Hub provides guidance, webinars, application planning tools and support resources to help organisations prepare their submissions.
