Established in 1969, with an annual turnover of circa £6m the company operates within the retail, commercial, industrial and domestic markets and has become one of the region’s leading electrical contractors.

In late 2016, the ownership structure was changed to an Employee Owned model. Every single employee, from the apprentices through to senior management, now have a financial stake in the success of the business. All new employees are expected to become shareholders ensuring we achieve our declared and ongoing commitment to have 100% of our staff included in the scheme. This shared ethos is encouraged at all levels of the business and greatly assists the company’s ability to deliver electrical projects on time and within budget.

We carry out the design, installation and commissioning of industrial, commercial and residential electrical installations throughout the Midlands and the United Kingdom. Having developed a diverse range of capabilities we are able to offer the complete solution for clients requiring electrical engineering expertise. Our experienced management team, estimating and technical staff are based in our head office in Nettleham, Lincoln.

Our large workforce of directly employed operatives undergo routine training and development, ensuring our staff are fully conversant with the latest industry regulations and developments. We have also been running a successful program of electrical apprenticeships in order to ensure a continual flow of talent and to guarantee a bright future for Brook and Mayo.

The company’s simple philosophy allows us to build steadily on an established client base, which includes a number of local authorities, building contractors and surveying consultancies.
