The Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Champion Awards 2025 are now open for applications!
These awards shine a spotlight on the individuals and businesses that help apprenticeships flourish, ensuring more people can gain valuable skills, qualifications, and career opportunities, all while earning a wage.
Why These Awards Matter
Apprenticeships are more than just training, they shape careers, strengthen businesses, and boost the local economy. These awards, hosted by Lincolnshire County Council in partnership with North and North East Lincolnshire and the Lincolnshire Public Sector Compact Group, shine a spotlight on the incredible individuals and organisations driving apprenticeship success.
This year’s categories are:
Greater Lincolnshire Apprentice Champion 2025
Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Employer Champion 2025 – Micro and Small Business
Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Employer Champion 2025 – Large Business
Greater Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Trainer Champion 2025
Finalists and winners will be celebrated at an exclusive awards ceremony on Thursday 25th September 2025 from 4 – 6pm at The Drill, Lincoln, LN2 1EY. Shortlisted applicants will receive a Highly Commended Certificate, recognising their contributions.
Award winners will need to demonstrate commitment, excellence in skills development and a clear drive to support both professional and personal success and growth.
How to Apply
Applying is quick and easy! Nominations are open until 9th June 2025 and can be submitted here.
Nominations can be made by individuals or third parties (with nominee consent), and employer entries require a third-party endorsement.

Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Champion Awards
As part of National Apprenticeship Week, Lincolnshire organisations have teamed up to launch a countywide Apprenticeship Champion Awards programme.
These awards seek to acknowledge the efforts and commitments of apprentices across the county – celebrating all of their incredible progress and milestones. Nominations are also open to apprenticeship employers as well as training providers.
The three categories for nominations are:
Lincolnshire Apprentice Champion 2022
Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Employer Champion 2022
Lincolnshire Apprenticeship Training Provider Champion 2022
The deadline for nominations is Thursday, 31st March 2022.
