Get Exhibition Ready – Session 2

Get Exhibition Ready is a two-part series, delivered in partnership with the University of Lincoln, designed to equip early-career creatives, start-up businesses and established businesses with the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to exhibit professionally and build opportunities for future work.

From curating and presenting your work to creating a portfolio that opens doors, these hands-on sessions will help you take the next step in your creative career.

These workshops will be 90 minutes long plus 30 minutes of networking, sharing ideas and connecting. Industry professionals will be on hand in the room to answer any bespoke questions to your work.

These workshops have been designed by Rachel Baynton and Olly Ventress, in partnership with the University of Lincoln.

Your portfolio is often your first introduction to galleries, clients and commissioners. In this session, you’ll learn how to create a professional portfolio that clearly communicates your practice and helps you make a strong impression.

You’ll leave with skills in:

• Building a polished, professional portfolio
• Selecting and presenting your strongest work
• Documenting and photographing your work effectively
• Writing concise and engaging supporting information
• Creating a portfolio that supports applications, exhibitions and sale
