Social Economy Academy: Exploring Value and Impact & P2P Network

Using the foundations of social impact methodology, this session aims to help organisations to explore the value that they provide for their customers, service users, funders and wider audiences.

It will include:

  • An introduction to the concepts of Social Value, Social Impact and Social Return on Investment
  • The “Triple Bottom Line”
  • The 8 Principes of Social Impact Evaluation
  • Exploring your impact with Stakeholder Mapping
  • Ways of measuring value and impact

In the second hour of this session, we invite attendees to share their own experiences, challenges, and examples of good practice in relation to Social Value and Social Impact in the facilitated Peer to Peer networking session.

Biog:

Kay Purle, LORIC and KTPs Manager at Lincoln Bishop University.

Kay manages the Business Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy programme, and has worked with a wide variety of VCFSEs and public sector organisations to help them to understand their value and measure their impact.

This event is part of the Greater Lincolnshire Social Economy Academy programme which is funded by the UK Government and is supported by Lincolnshire County Council and Business Lincolnshire. It is delivered locally by Lincoln Bishop University.

As this is a fully funded event provided for Greater Lincolnshire VCFSE organisations, in addition to booking the ticket on Eventbrite, you will be asked to complete a Business Enrolment Form on the day to confirm eligibility and to provide data required by our funders.
