AHF: Heritage Revival Fund

The Heritage Revival Fund is a national funding programme designed to help communities across England take ownership of, restore and repurpose historic buildings that are at risk of long-term decline. The programme is delivered by the Architectural Heritage Fund in partnership with DCMS and Historic England as part of the Government’s wider investment in arts, culture and heritage.

The fund is open to charities and social enterprises seeking to acquire, adapt or reuse historic buildings for community benefit. Particular emphasis is placed on town centre regeneration projects, especially in areas experiencing deprivation or underinvestment.

Funding is available across a range of project stages, from feasibility studies and options appraisals through to business planning, design development, surveys, conservation works and building repairs. This allows organisations to progress historic building projects from initial concept through to delivery.

The programme is currently scheduled to run until 31 March 2030.
