BridgeAI Deployment Catalyst: AI for Assurance and Compliance

The BridgeAI Deployment Catalyst: AI for Assurance and Compliance competition is delivered by Innovate UK as part of the wider BridgeAI programme. The programme aims to accelerate the deployment of advanced UK-developed artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) solutions across priority growth sectors.

This competition focuses on AI systems designed to monitor, test, verify, validate or provide evidence of compliance with regulations, standards or operational controls. Projects must address significant deployment challenges and move beyond routine implementation activities.

Applications must be led by a UK-registered SME with an AI or ML solution at Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 5 or 6, supported by a functioning minimum viable product. Projects must involve at least one eligible UK-registered deployer organisation that can provide access to operational settings, users, systems, processes or data needed to assess deployment readiness. Consortiums must comprise at least two organisations and no more than three.

Projects can request between £100,000 and £200,000 in grant funding, must run for three to five months, start by 1 April 2027 and finish by 31 August 2027. Successful Phase 1 projects may be invited to progress to later programme stages, which are expected to support deployment preparation and large-scale deployment activities.
