Discover the Wolds Business Growth Programme

The Discover the Wolds Business Growth Programme is funded through the East Lindsey Investment Fund (ELIF) and managed by East Lindsey District Council. The programme aims to strengthen the visitor economy across the Lincolnshire Wolds and surrounding areas by supporting projects that enhance visitor experiences and encourage sustainable tourism growth.

Funding is available through two separate grant strands. Capital Grants offer between £20,000 and £50,000, covering up to 40% of eligible project costs, for businesses investing at least £50,000 in projects such as visitor attractions, accommodation improvements, food and drink facilities, visitor infrastructure, equipment and property enhancements.

Revenue Grants provide between £2,500 and £5,000, supporting up to 50% of eligible costs for projects valued between £5,000 and £10,000. Eligible activities include marketing, digital development, business planning, market testing and creating new visitor experiences. In some cases, project development and design activity may receive support at up to 75% intervention rate.

Applicants must have been trading for at least 12 months and must either operate within, or be investing in, eligible parishes across the East Lindsey and Lincolnshire Wolds area. Voluntary, community and charitable organisations involved in the visitor economy may also be considered. Applications are accepted following an initial registration of interest and discussion with the project team. The current application deadline is 30 November 2026.
