NKDC Flourishing Communities Grant
North Kesteven District Council has allocated £22,425 of UK Shared Prosperity Funds (UKSPF) for 25/26 to the Flourishing Communities Grant (FCG).
The purpose of this grant scheme is to support community sector organisations to make their communities healthier, safer and more inclusive, providing funds by way of small grants of up to £1500.
This scheme aligns with the Government’ Healthy, Safe and Inclusive Communities theme within the Communities & Place investment priority that UKSPF schemes intend to target.
There is a maximum intervention rate (grant %) of 50%. This means all applicants must be able to contribute a minimum of 50% of the total cost of the submitted application.
Applicants must be a community organisation. Private individuals are not eligible to apply.
Eligible organisations could include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Parish Councils.
- Community Trusts.
- Not for Profit Groups.
- Social Enterprises.
- Local Charities.
- Other organisations including sports clubs, fitness groups, theatre groups and societies.

All applicants must provide and meet all requested information/documentation outlined during the application process. Incomplete applications without explanation will be treated as ineligible.
The outright purchase of capital equipment for projects (including computers but excluding software) in support of the following community activities:
- Physical and mental health and wellbeing.
- Social inclusion (reducing isolation and promoting cohesion).
- Active lifestyles, including sports, cycling, walking etc.
- Access and accessibility.
- Youth activities (excluding uniformed groups).
- Tourism, culture, heritage and arts.
The grant requested (50% or less of the total cost) must not be greater than £1,500.
