The AXA Startup Angel Competition

The AXA Startup Angel competition, delivered by AXA Business Insurance in partnership with The Standard, supports early-stage UK entrepreneurs with the funding and support they need to grow. Open to new and aspiring founders, the programme offers two top prizes of £25,000, alongside expert mentoring, business insurance and valuable exposure. A further four runners-up receive mentoring and media support packages. Designed to recognise innovative, purpose-driven ideas, AXA Startup Angel helps turn promising business concepts into successful, scalable ventures.
How to enter
- Visit axastartupangel.standard.co.uk and register your details;
- Submit answers to the three questions (maximum 200 words per answer).
- Question 1: Now’s the moment to showcase your passion – describe the business & how it generates profit?
- Question 2: Imagine you’ve just won the £25,000 – what are you going to do with the money?
- Question 3: It’s the day of your mentoring sessions – what do you want to learn from each Angel?
- Upload a one-minute elevator pitch video about you, why you’re passionate about your business idea and why you should be chosen.
