What to Expect from Business Lincolnshire’s Fully Funded Support in 2026/27

DSC_7019

As Business Lincolnshire prepares for the next phase of fully funded business support, 2026/27 will mark an important step forward in how advice, guidance and development opportunities are structured and delivered across Greater Lincolnshire.

The aim of the refreshed approach is simple: to make it easier for businesses to navigate support, access the right expertise at the right time, and benefit from programmes that reflect both business stage and sector‑specific needs.

Fully Funded Support in 2026/27

For those considering self‑employment or in the early stages of trading, support in 2026/27 will continue to focus on helping entrepreneurs build strong, sustainable foundations. Businesses can expect access to experienced advisers who provide practical guidance on areas such as business planning, financial forecasting, routes to market and accessing finance.

This early‑stage support will remain focused on confidence‑building, informed decision‑making and helping new businesses move forward with clarity.

Established businesses looking to strengthen performance, adapt to change or plan for growth will also continue to be supported through a more structured growth‑focused approach. This will include action planning, helping businesses identify priorities across leadership, finance readiness, productivity, digital adoption and future growth opportunities.

The intention is to provide structured pathways that reflect where a business is now, while supporting its next stage of development.

From 2026/27, Business Lincolnshire’s support will place greater emphasis on sector‑relevant guidance, reflecting the diversity of the Greater Lincolnshire economy. Businesses operating in manufacturing, digital and technology, social economy, farming and Agri, and visitor and retail sectors can expect support that is informed by sector insight and delivered by specialist advisers with relevant experience.

This approach recognises that different sectors face different challenges and that targeted support can create stronger outcomes.

Alongside one‑to‑one advice, businesses can also expect an ongoing programme of fully funded eventsworkshops and networking opportunities throughout 2026 and 2027. These sessions will be designed to support skill‑building, peer learning and collaboration, and will align closely with key business themes and sector priorities.

Preparing for the Future

This period of change reflects Business Lincolnshire’s ongoing commitment to supporting businesses to start, adapt and grow in a changing economic landscape. More information about the refreshed support structure will be shared over the coming weeks, helping businesses understand how to engage as the new programmes formally go live.
