Business Academy: Mess to message: How to create impactful presentations

09 June 2026 - 11:00 am • 09 June 2026 - 12:00 pm • Online

Event Information

Learn how to build a strong narrative, so that people are compelled to listen to you, and each idea builds on the last one.

What you’ll learn
  • Start with structure: work out the order before designing the slides
  • Build a strong argument: apply a hidden logic to the structure that your audience buys into
  • Hold their attention: design the presentation for listening, not reading

The secret-sauce of a persuasive presentation isn’t your charisma: it’s the structure. To persuade people, don’t start with the slides.

Figure out a strong narrative, so that people are compelled to listen to you, and each idea builds on the last one. You don’t need a PhD in storytelling to win buy-in or endless rehearsals: just simple frameworks that help you avoid overloading your audience with too much information. Say less to persuade more.
