Programme
The Manufacturing Support Programme is a fully funded programme of support designed for businesses that either manufacture, add value or service physical and digital products.
Made up of a Business Health Assessment, Consultancy Coaching or Training support, Online Workshops and a Peer Networking forum, businesses can participate in every part of the service or parts that solve a particular need.
This is a consultant-led diagnostic that allows the business to critically examine the key functions, opportunities and issues faced by any successful business. The Consultant will ask you a series of questions based on key business model areas that will enable you to explore these in more depth and assess the need for further action. By the end of the assessment discussion, you will have a clear understanding of opportunities for development and improvement in your business. Following the assessment discussion, the Consultant will provide you with a written report summarising the outcomes and action points.
To help implement the actions resulting from the Assessment, the programme will support you with up to 9 hours of Consultancy, Coaching or Training from a functional expert in the area to be addressed. Popular areas for support include,

An opportunity to spend time working with other manufacturing business owners/managers, these lunchtime meetings will be held monthly and will give participants a chance to discuss topics of individual or group interest in a confidential arena. These hugely popular forums give you the chance to benefit from the group’s combined experience and gain insight into a range of business issues. Topics for discussion are chosen by the group members, and a Peer Group Facilitator chairs the meetings to ensure discussion remains constructive and of tangible benefit to the group as a whole.
The programme is designed to help the participating company improve business performance, innovate new product and service offerings or develop new business.
The programme is open to all businesses in participating areas that have more than one full-time employee, a greater than £100,000 turnover and have traded for more than one year.
Businesses must either manufacture, add value to or service either physical or digital products.
