Across Greater Lincolnshire, social enterprises, charities, community organisations and purpose led businesses are making a difference every single day. They are supporting communities, tackling social challenges, creating opportunities and delivering vital services often while managing limited time, stretched resources and increasing demand.

The challenge for many organisations is not passion or purpose. It is having the capacity, confidence and support to grow sustainably while continuing to deliver meaningful impact.

That is why Business Lincolnshire has launched the Social Economy Academy. Bringing together fully funded support designed specifically for organisations working across the social economy sector. The academy has been created to help organisations strengthen leadership, build resilience, improve sustainability and develop the skills needed to navigate a changing landscape with greater confidence.

Practical support for social economy organisations

Through the academy, organisations can access fully funded specialist support from experienced advisers who understand the unique opportunities and pressures facing the sector. Whether organisations are looking to strengthen strategy, improve sustainability, increase engagement or explore new ways of working, support is tailored to the needs and goals of each organisation.

Sometimes having the right guidance at the right moment can create the clarity needed to move from surviving to growing.

Organisations can also access the GLSEA Accelerator Programme. Designed to help social economy organisations build stronger foundations for long term growth and impact. The programme supports organisations to think more strategically about leadership, resilience, collaboration and future sustainability while providing practical guidance that can be applied directly within their organisation and community.

Alongside one to one support, organisations can also take part in a series of practical workshops and peer to peer networking sessions designed to encourage collaboration, shared learning and fresh thinking across the sector.

Upcoming sessions include…

These sessions are designed to give organisations practical ideas, new perspectives and valuable connections with others facing similar challenges across the region.

Because often the most powerful ideas come from conversations with people who truly understand the realities of the sector.

Building stronger organisations and stronger communities

The Social Economy Academy reflects a growing recognition that organisations delivering social value need support that is practical, relevant and built around the realities of running purpose led organisations.

From leadership and mentoring through to AI, collaboration and impact measurement, the academy has been designed to help organisations build confidence, strengthen resilience and increase their long term impact.

For organisations across Greater Lincolnshire, this is an opportunity to access expert support, connect with peers and invest in the future of both their organisation and the communities they serve.
